In Zen, the Enso represents a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. It is the ultimate symbol of the "Now." You cannot draw an Enso by worrying about the past or the future; you must be present.
The circle is often drawn "open" or incomplete. This signifies that imperfection is an essential part of life—a comforting reminder for anyone who worries that they must be perfect to be okay.
For us, the Enso represents containment. It is a safe circle to hold your racing thoughts so they don't have to run wild in your mind.
